It’s that spooky spectacular time of year again, where the adults and kids alike dress up in all sorts of scary attire and participate in the old-fashioned game of trick or treat to celebrate the night of Halloween.
Not only is Halloween voted as one of these most celebrated events of the year but the town of Great Yarmouth really knows how to put on a show. Whether it’s a family show in the evening, an afternoon of pumpkin carving or just a place to stay during the Halloween period, the town really do have everything to offer. This year there are events being held across the county of Norfolk including the ’Halloween Spooktacular’ at the fantastic Hippodrome Circus, Great Yarmouth. This event is running from the 20th until the 31st October 2018 and is not one to be missed. If your into your horror why not try the popular ’PrimEvil Extreme’ at Roarr, Dinosaur Adventure Park, Lenwade. This is an over 18s event which includes a firework display and a world’s first exciting Holomaze experience. This event is running for two days only the 2nd and 3rd November 2018.
It’s a Halloween tradition to carve a pumpkin and there’s no better way to go along and pick your own. Head down to The Tacons in Rollesby, Great Yarmouth and you are spoilt for choice. From little pumpkins to huge pumpkins all you need now is a design to carve out to bring your pumpkin to life!
Why not extend your stay in Great Yarmouth and book a local hotel as with all this excitement time really does fly and it won’t be long before we get those bonfire’s burning with the smell of toasted marshmallows for Guy Fawkes Night. The sky will really be alight as there are plenty of local fireworks displays happening all over the county. Including the huge ’Big Boom’ fireworks spectacular in Norwich where fireworks are let off from the amazing Norwich Castle. This is happening on the 2nd November 2018 at 19:30pm and promises to be a magical night.
