If it’s boats and sights your after grab your anchor and head down to the Norfolk Broads. One of the UK’s largest and finest wetland landscapes it’s a unique patchwork of rivers, lakes, marsh, woodland and wide-open skies. More than 125 miles worth of navigable waterways make up the Broads so you are spoilt for choice in picking your destination.

The Broads is a haven for rare species including birds, insects, spiders and even 250 different types of plant! There are many lovely hotels, B&B’s, country cottages, parks and camping sites in which you can stay along the Broads and many different types of vessel to travel in. The main mode of transport is the classic day boat, these are commonly hired out by holiday makers and tourists visiting the area who want to explore the Broads for a half or full day. If you are wanting to make it more of a holiday a luxury cruiser may be more your thing, some of these cruisers sleep up to nine people.

As you make your way through six adjoining rivers and five districts you may want to take a pit stop at one of the pretty market towns that dot the horizon or take on a tour of the beautiful city of Norwich. Norwich is not just famous for its historical cathedral it is also home to Norwich City football club the Canaries, the Norwich Norman Castle and a host of shopping outlets and funky bars to satisfy your needs.

Why not take your Broads tour into Great Yarmouth, famous for its bright lights and Docwra’s rock factory. You can enjoy fish and chips on the seafront and ten pin bowling on the Pier.
