Our business has been Covid-19 approved by the ‘We’re Good to go’ campaign in partnership with the tourist organisations of Great Britain.

The health and safety of all our guests and employees in our highest priority. Please take a moment to read how we are providing a safe environment for all. We have reviewed all aspects of our operations and adapted existing procedures in line with Government requirements.


BEDROOMS. We are deep cleaning bedrooms after every stay concentrating on high touch points. Our housekeeping team will follow strict guidelines in preparation for your arrival. A daily room service will be avoided unless you opt in during check-in to reduce the number of times someone enters your room. We have removed all scatter cushions and bed runners for hygiene purposes.

USE OF SANITISING GENERATING MACHINES. We have invested in new disinfectant machines which spray a fine mist of safe antibacterial solution into your bedroom. Doors will then be sealed in preparation for the next arrival. The communal areas will receive the same treatment each evening.

LAUNDRY. Our external linen company are cleaning all towels and bedding at a safe temperature.

SOCIAL DISTANCING. We are implementing social distancing throughout the hotel.

SANITISING POINT. Hand sanitising is available at the entrance. Please make use of this as you enter the building.

PROTECTIVE BARRIERS. We have installed protective screens where required.

RESTAURANT & BAR. We are spacing tables to provide social distancing, table service only and regular cleaning. Sanitising generating machines will be used at the end of every night. No breakfast buffets.

WELCOME PACK. We are providing disinfected keys along with useful information in your room for arrival to reduce time at check-in.

METHODS OF PAY. We are only accepting cards. No cash please.

FOOD SAFETY. We are adhering to the strict safety procedures while serving all food and beverages. We have fewer people in our kitchen, so we’re operating a reduced but tasty menu.

TEAM MEMBER PPE. We are providing our team with personal protective equipment.

TEAM TEMPERATURE CHECKS. We are administering temperature checks for team members, when legally permitted or required.

TEAM TRAINING. We are providing our team with comprehensive hygiene and prevention training.

COVID-19 TEAM. We will meet each month to review our procedures.

CANCELLATIONS. Where restrictions on travel no longer exist, we will be applying your published cancellation policies. However, if you cannot travel to Andover House at last minute due to a Covid-19 related issue, we will continue to allow travellers to simply move their stay to a future date of travel if restrictions remain by governmental measures such as quarantines and lockdowns.
