Andover House accepts payment by cash, credit/debit card (VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Maestro, JCB and PayPal), Business Account and business cheque. We do not accept personal cheques.
Room prices are per room, per night and are inclusive of VAT and a full English breakfast. Andover House reserves the right to review it’s room prices from time to time. You will pay the room price as quoted at the time of room reservation. Note that quoted room prices at Andover House may change up to the date of your arrival.
Andover House is only available to those that are over 13 years of age.
Upon completion of your booking, you will receive an email containing your confirmation number.
You can reserve your room by giving your credit or debit card details at the time of booking. A debit/credit card used must have an expiry date that is valid after the date of stay.
For leisure guests, if you wish to cancel your hotel booking, please advise us by 12 noon on the day prior to arrival otherwise your first night stay will be charged. For 3 or more rooms, the cancellation period is between 48 hours and 10 days. Corporate guests have a more flexible cancellation period of 12 noon on the day of arrival unless stated otherwise.
If you cancel a room reservation outside the policy and have paid for the room in advance by debit/credit card, a full refund will be processed to the same debit/credit card normally before 10am the next day. A cancellation reference will be given and must be retained as proof of cancellation.
If you cancel a room reservation inside the policy and have not already paid for the room in advance you will be charged for one night's accommodation per room booked. A cancellation reference will be given and must be retained as proof of cancellation. The customer will be issued with a receipt for this charge.
Bookings made after 12pm on day of arrival are non-refundable, and are subject to the standard cancellation terms.
Group Booking Reservations
A booking of 3 rooms or more is considered a group booking within Andover House. If a group of individuals has booked separately to Andover House we reserve the right to enforce group terms and conditions to those bookings regardless of the booking channel used to book.
Cancellation of Group Bookings
Cancellation of a group booking of 3 rooms or more follows the same cancellation policy as outlined above but with a 48 hour to 10 day notice before 2pm on day of arrival, depending on how many rooms have been booked.
If you decide to shorten your stay you must inform us by 12 noon on the day otherwise you will be charged the cost of one night’s accommodation per room booked.
Arrival and Departure
Rooms are available from 3pm on the arrival date. Please let us know if you are likely to arrive after 11pm. Your room must be vacated by 11am.
Reservations made with an Andover House approved corporate account must be guaranteed with a credit or debit card at time of booking. Corporate Account reservations may be cancelled up until 12 noon on the day of arrival.
Failure of the corporate account customer to cancel before 12 noon on the day of the arrival gives Andover House the right to charge for one night’s accommodation.
Breakfast is served between 7am and 9am on weekdays and between 8.00am and 10am at weekends and Bank Holidays.
Our restaurant is available Monday to Saturday for dinner. A light bite is available on Sunday. The bar is open 7 days a week.
Andover House operates a 100% no smoking policy throughout. We reserve the right to charge up to £200 for cleaning and loss of room resulting from smoke damage. Electrical smoking appliances may not be used in the rooms as they may set off the sensitive fire alarm system.
Andover House is grade-2 listed and does not have rooms that are specially adapted for customers with disabilities. Our rooms are on the first or second floor accessed by a twin staircase. We have no lift. Guests can request first floor accommodation and we will confirm if available.
With the exception of guide dogs, no pets are allowed in Andover House.
You are responsible for any damage caused to the allocated rooms or the furnishings of the hotel. If any act, default or neglect by the guests or organisers results in damage or complaints from other guests, the customer shall be liable to pay to Andover House on demand the amount required to make good or remedy such damage.
Andover House do not accept liability for any failure to provide services contracted due to circumstances beyond our control including industrial action, postal communication, plant failures, supply of gas, electricity and water or fire alarm evacuation.
